(March 10, 2023 – 10 a.m.) — Less than 150 Meriwether Lewis Connect subscribers remain affected by outages related to March 3 storm damage. Most of these are in Hickman, Humphreys and Perry counties.
Contract crews continue working to repair main lines and service drops, while MLC technicians work on individual services and other related tasks. Crews will work this weekend, and repairs are expected to be finished by the end of next week.
Other details of note:
- If power has returned but Internet has not, unplug the router from the power source for a few minutes instead of using the reset button.
- To report a broadband outage, call MLEC and choose OPTION 3, then OPTION 2. If you have Internet access on your phone, you can also create a service ticket using the SUPPORT PORTAL at mlconnect.com.
- Tech support tickets for issues inside the home such as speed, routers, etc. are second priority to restoration efforts at this time.
- Scheduled installations are ongoing, as they are handled by a different crew.
